Buildings

Buildings fact sheets share the economic impact of sustainable buildings in a state, including:

  • Savings from adopting new commercial and residential building codes
  • Private investment in heat pump manufacturing, where applicable
  • Employment in the energy efficiency sector, including high efficiency and renewable heating and cooling
  • All-electric homes as compared to the region and the country and homes with heat pumps, electric water heaters, and solar power
  • Federal funding awarded for building programs related to electrification, energy efficiency, and pollution reduction

Clean Energy

Clean Energy fact sheets provide an overview of investment, employment, and deployment of clean energy generation technology in a state, specifically:

  • Private investment and jobs announced into the manufacturing of clean energy generation technology
  • Clean electricity generation capacity, both operating and planned or under construction
  • Wind electricity, solar electricity, and clean energy jobs
  • Federal funding awarded for clean energy generation, storage, efficiency, and grid improvement projects

Transportation

Transportation fact sheets share a state’s progress in clean transportation and the economic benefits of those efforts, including:

  • Private investment and jobs announced in EV and EV battery manufacturing, including by political district
  • EV sales, including light duty market share of new sales, and charger deployment
  • Savings from clean vehicle tax credits
  • Federal funding awarded for clean transportation projects
