SUMMARY:Power Sector Affordability Collaborative Launch
DESCRIPTION:The launch call for the Power Sector Affordability Collaborative will take place May 1st at 11 am Pacific/12 pm Mountain/1pm Central/2pm Eastern. \nRMI and GPI will combine forces to help states confront electricity affordability challenges through a new Power Sector Affordability Collaborative! During the launch call on May 1\, 2026 at 11 am Pacific/12 pm Mountain/1pm Central/2pm Eastern\, the team will present a proposed plan for the first year of the Collaborative and the group will discuss the question\, “What is electricity affordability?” Participating states will identify and understand the near-term measures states can adopt to reduce costs while meeting the challenges of increasing demand\, drawing on the RMI toolkit and the real time experiences of state practitioners. The group is expected to meet approximately once monthly by Zoom and participate in the next Conveners Network in-person meeting. \nIf you are interested in participating in the Power Sector Affordability Collaborative or would like to make sure the team reaches out to someone else in your state\, please sign up below.
